The PHCC Certification Program
The same series, taken in order, with a short assessment after every lesson and a certificate of completion at the end — designed and approved by Performance Health Collaborative. The lessons themselves stay free and open to everyone.
The certification track is optional. Read the open course without signing up for anything.

How the certification works
Everything in the series is free to read on Dr. Bestermann’s Substack, and it stays that way. The certification track adds structure and a record: you work through the lessons in sequence, show you have taken in each one, and finish with something you can put in a file.
-
Sign up for the certification
Name as it should appear on the certificate, email, your credential and organization. That is all we need.
-
Work through the lessons in order
Introduction, then Parts 1 to 7, then the Clinical Masterclass. Each lesson opens only once you have passed the one before it.
-
Read, then answer five questions
Each lesson page carries a summary and a link to the full post. The assessment is five multiple-choice questions; 80% — four of five — passes.
-
Retake as often as you need
If you do not pass, you see which answers were wrong and why, and can retake with the questions and options reshuffled. There is no penalty and no limit.
-
Finish the capstone, collect the certificate
Passing the Clinical Masterclass completes the program and issues a PDF certificate with your name, the completion date and a certificate ID that can be checked on the verification page.
What the certificate is — and what it is not
It is a certificate of completion for the PHCC Clinical Education Program, designed and approved by Performance Health Collaborative and carrying the printed names of William H. Bestermann Jr., MD and Justin Davis, PhD.
